All ARTYFACT pieces are handcrafted in 925 sterling silver and will naturally develop a patina over time. To preserve their finish, store jewellery in the original ARTYFACT box provided, away from moisture and sunlight. A soft polishing cloth is included with every order and should be used for gentle cleaning when tarnish appears.
Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, hairspray, chlorine, or other chemicals, as these may damage the surface. Remove jewellery before bathing, swimming, or exercising. Do not use ultrasonic cleaners or commercial polishes.
In addition to the above: pearls are organic and especially delicate. Keep away from acids, cosmetics, and direct heat. Always store separately from harder jewellery to avoid scratching. Wipe gently with a soft cloth after wearing. Never expose pearls to silver cleaning products or ultrasonic cleaners.
Lapis is a soft stone sensitive to water, oils, and chemicals. Avoid perfume, lotions, and extended sunlight. Clean with a dry, soft cloth only and store in its box when not worn.
